DGS Security Services has protected commercial, retail, residential and industrial clients across Namibia since 2017. Under the leadership of Dominico Strauss, the company combines operational expertise with strong working relationships with NAMPOL and the City Police.

Our services
Six services, one integrated deployment

Manned guarding — unarmed & armed
Professional officers on 12-hour day and night shifts. Unarmed guards provide visible deterrence and access control; armed guards, fully licensed under Namibian law, cover high-value and high-risk environments. Every guard is trained, uniformed and works to a site-specific standard operating procedure.

CCTV monitoring & control room
Dedicated operators monitor camera feeds in real time, 24 hours a day, with cameras grouped by area for structured coverage. Incidents are flagged and responded to immediately, and we assess, recommend and technically support CCTV upgrades.

Patrol management — baton clocking
Patrols are verified through tag points placed across the site, producing tamper-proof patrol reports. We advise clients to own the system outright — no rental fees, and the system stays yours regardless of who provides your security.

Risk assessments — initial & ongoing
Every new client receives a complimentary pre-contract risk assessment. Monthly assessments then run for the life of the contract to identify emerging threats and recommend improvements, submitted to management in writing.

Access control & perimeter security
Strict management of every entry and exit point: vehicle and pedestrian access, visitor logging, contractor management and after-hours gate control. We also advise on and install gates, locks, lighting and perimeter upgrades.

Supervision & reporting
A dedicated supervisor inspects sites, monitors guard performance and enforces protocol. A security information board at every site displays manager, supervisor and 24-hour emergency contacts, and incident and patrol reports go to management monthly.

Security questions
01Do you charge for the first risk assessment?
No. Every new client receives a detailed, complimentary pre-contract risk assessment. Monthly assessments then continue for the life of the contract and are submitted to management in writing.
02How do we know patrols actually happened?
Patrols are verified with a baton clocking system against tag points placed across the site — at Funky Town Mall, for example, 20 tag points cover the full property. Reports are tamper-proof and issued monthly.
03Will our pricing change during the contract?
Pricing is fixed for the first 12 months of every contract. There are no hidden fees, and any later adjustment is discussed and agreed with you.
04Do you provide armed guards?
Yes. Armed guards are fully licensed under Namibian law and deployed where the risk assessment calls for an elevated level of protection, such as high-value industrial and diamond-sector sites.
