Body Corporate Management

Body corporate management held to audit standard

Levy collection, trustee support, statutory compliance and financials that stand up to an auditor and to an owners' meeting.

Overview

Trustees carry the liability — we carry the administration

DGS acts as managing agent under a written service level agreement that names deliverables and turnaround times. Trustees receive a monthly pack with an age analysis, bank reconciliation, expenditure against budget and a maintenance status report.

  • Registered managing agent operating under the STSMA and PMR regulations.
  • Trust accounts held separately per scheme, reconciled and reported monthly.
  • Levy arrears escalated on a published timetable, with attorney handover defined.
  • AGM notices, quorum tracking, minutes and CSOS submissions handled in full.

Answers

Frequently asked questions

01How long does a handover from our current agent take?

Typically 30 to 60 days from resolution. We reconcile trust balances and arrears before we take over billing.

02Do trustees keep control of spending?

Yes. Mandate limits are agreed in the SLA, and anything above the limit requires written trustee approval.

03How are disputes with owners handled?

Internally first, in line with the conduct rules. Where that fails, we prepare and lodge the CSOS application on the scheme's behalf.
